Online Auction are a way of buying that is more in keeping with the pace of a modern, dynamic life. They are virtual auctions that take place exclusively online. During the duration of the time auction, you have the possibility to request condition reports on the lots you are interested in or to book a direct viewing.
Through our Maison Bibelot Time platform, you have the possibility to access our auctions anytime and anywhere, without any restrictions of location or device.
Participation in the auction is only possible through registration to MyBibelot and can be done through your preferred device, computer, laptop, smartphone, tablet also through our free App for Apple or Android.
For this type of sale, the General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply under the menu item ‘Buy from Maison Bibelot’.
The catalogue will be published online for the duration of one week/ten days. During this period, Maison Bibelot's relaunch monitoring systems will be active 24 hours a day, acting as a virtual beater. Every time you make an offer, you will receive
an email confirmation, as well as if your bid is outbid by another participant, giving you the opportunity to raise in real time.
Bids follow the following fixed bids within certain price ranges:
from 0.00 € to 99.00 € raises of 10.00 €
from 100,00 € to 299,00 € raises of 20,00 €
300.00 € to 999.00 € 50.00 raises
1000.00 to 1999.00 € 100.00 raises
from 2,000.00 € to 9,999.00 € raises of 200.00 €
over € 10,000.00 € 500.00 raises
It will also be possible to place a maximum bid if you are not available on the closing day of the timed auction. The system, acting as a virtual batter, will defend your bid, updating you in real time via email and giving you the opportunity to bid until the last moment.
On the day the auction ends, each lot will close every two minutes, making it possible to participate in the purchase of all the lots you are interested in. When a lot expires, each time a user places a higher bid than you, the system will give you the opportunity to bid for another two minutes, increasing the closing time of the lot.
In the meantime, the expiration of subsequent lots will continue in order to meet the closing time set by the system.
The closing of the lots will stop at 11pm on each day and resume at 9am the following day. During this period it will still be possible to place new bids and maximum bids.
At the end of the auction, you will receive a pro-forma invoice from our system with a summary of your purchases, including important information for payment and collection of lots.
