Taken from the album Les Chiens Le Gibier et ses Ennemis, published in 1907 by Mimard & Blachon, a company producing hunting rifles and bicycles, which published it as a gift for its customers. The collection includes numerous prints with dogs, birds and other hunted animals, taken from watercolors by Paul Mahler printed in photogravures by E. Pigelet
