Copper engraving, coloured, with passe-partout. Title within a decorative cartouche surmounted by three cherubs holding the coats of arms of the Kingdom of Sicily, Malta and Sardinia. At the head, outside the frame, title in Italian: "The kingdoms of Sicily, and Sardinia, with the adjacent islands of Corsica, Elba, Malta, and Liparee, or of Vulcano, as well as part of the northern beaches of Africa, and of the Southern Italy; Hydro-Geographically Represented with as much accuracy as possible, given their legitimate situation in the Mediterranean, under the assumption of the degrees established by the Most Excellent Sisters of the Royal Academy of Sciences, proportionate to the Graduated Earth Globe : reduced to the desired Perfection by the Travels and Composition made by Mr. G.A.B.
