Beautiful headpieces engraved with coats of arms, historiated initials and woodcut finials. Text in two columns. Coeval full leather binding with rich friezes and gold title on the spine with 5 raised raised bands. Faults (peeling and mending, especially on the back, foot and toes). Loose binding. Diffuse blooms, some spots. Small omissions and tears on pp. 7, 317, 319, 377, 495, 575, 671, 675, 683. First complete edition of the dictionary, dedicated to Louis of France, the Grand Dauphin
